Nails
I am proud to use two of the leading gel systems on the market. Izabelle Hammon & The Gel Bottle.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Gel Nails differ from acrylic nails which require mixing the liquid and powder. It is a gel that is applied to the natural nail, cured under a UV/LED lamp and can last up to 6 weeks.
Gel can be used as an overlay to the natural nail, can be used to extend the nail using sculptures or can reinforce the strength of tips/extensions.
I pride myself in putting a strong focus on nail preparation. I use the leading tool and hygiene systems from the brand Navy to create a flawless and healthy canvas for your gel to be applied.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE / LAST?
Appointment lengths will differ dependent on whether you have just an overlay on your natural nail or whether your nails will need extending. An extra 20 minutes will also be required for soak offs.
Most people tend to come back at 2-3 weeks for an infill. This requires refining the gel nail down so it is completely smooth and applying another layer of gel in the same colour or a darker colour.

WHAT AFTERCARE IS INVOLVED?
It is important not to use your nails as 'tools'. No opening cans or opening parcels with your nails.
Avoid excessive hand washing, when you do re-hydrate with cuticle oil/balm afterwards.
